India, Dec. 26 -- Among the most-anticipated Tamil films in 2026 is Jailer 2. Starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel is currently under production. Recently, Hindi actor Mithun Chakraborty, who himself is part of Jailer 2, had confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan is also part of the star-studded sequel. With Jailer under production, the stalwarts sharing a screen space will be joyful news for their fandoms, bridging the gap between north and south.
