India, Aug. 20 -- Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive at an apartment complex in Greenville on August 16, with her former boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach present during the emergency response, according to a police report. However, her official cause of death remains undetermined, and toxicology results are pending.

Officers and emergency workers were called to Judson Mill Lofts following a report of an "unresponsive female". Police found Panettiere at the scene along with Hickerson and his brother.
