India, Aug. 12 -- Green Day's early touring years have been transformed into a fictional road-trip comedy with Nimrods, a new film that channels the band's rebellious spirit through the story of three teenage musicians chasing an unlikely break.
A Road Trip Fueled by a Rock Dream
Directed by Lee Kirk, Nimrods follows Tommy, Fred and Chad, three friends who believe their band has been invited to open for Green Day at a New Year's Eve concert in Los Angeles. Convinced the opportunity could change their lives, they set off from Kansas City on a chaotic journey across the United States.
