India, Aug. 12 -- The decision to turn Mirzapur into a theatrical film was driven largely by the audience's continued demand for more from the popular crime saga, producer Farhan Akhtar has said. Speaking around the launch of the film's trailer, Akhtar credited the franchise's loyal fan base for encouraging the makers to take the story beyond streaming.
