India, Oct. 28 -- Actor Esha Deol, at the trailer launch of her upcoming film Pratap on Monday, spoke about family support through life’s difficulties and named her father, the late actor Dharmendra, as her idea of a “perfect husband,” according to a report published on Oct. 27, 2026.
Family support during ups and downs
At the event, Esha Deol was asked about the role a wife plays in supporting her husband through difficult times. She said that family is “God given” and includes parents and children, and that husbands become family whether chosen by individuals or through arranged marriages.
Esha Deol said, “So I believe that whatever ups and downs there are in life, it is important to support each other.”
