India, Sept. 16 -- Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour has been hit by a major shake-up after its scheduled opening acts and backing band withdrew following Macklemore's removal from the tour over his pro-Palestinian remarks. The departures come days before Sheeran's North American dates are scheduled to resume.
Opening Acts Pull Out
Aaron Rowe, Finneas and Irish band Beoga announced on Instagram that they would no longer participate in the tour. Rowe had been brought in as one of the replacements for Macklemore during Sheeran's remaining US shows, while Beoga had been performing as Sheeran's touring band. Finneas was scheduled to join the South American leg later this year.
