India, March 20 -- Hindi filmmaker Aditya Dhar's films Dhurandhar and its latest sequel Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, depict the daring escapades of an Indian agent who infiltrates terror networks in Pakistan. The director's earlier works include Uri and Article 370, which revolve around Kashmir and the conflicts in the Valley. Remarking about Aditya's choice of subjects that has sparked discussions, Malayalam director Major Ravi pointed out that Aditya Dhar's family has gone through traumatic experiences and that intense emotions reflect in his films as well.
