India, Sept. 7 -- Bruce Campbell, the actor best known for playing Ash Williams in the Evil Dead franchise, has revealed that doctors have given him a prognosis of about five years following his cancer diagnosis.
Campbell keeps cancer type private
The 68-year-old actor shared the update during an appearance on The Adam Carolla Show. Campbell confirmed that his current prognosis was "five years, give or take", but chose not to disclose the specific type of cancer he has.
He had first revealed his diagnosis in March, describing the condition as "treatable" but "not curable". At the time, he said treatment would require him to scale back professional commitments.
