India, Aug. 11 -- Brad Pitt has spoken candidly about a difficult period during the fallout from his family troubles, revealing that he experienced suicidal thoughts for the first time and later returned to drinking after maintaining seven years of sobriety. The Oscar-winning actor discussed the experience in a new Esquire interview.
Pitt recalls darkest period
Pitt said he had never previously experienced suicidal thoughts but reached a point when the emotional pain felt overwhelming.
