India, Aug. 17 -- Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2 has delivered a powerful opening weekend at the global box office, crossing the Rs110 crore mark within three days of its theatrical release. The action drama, which hit cinemas on August 14, has emerged as one of the actor's strongest recent performers.
Strong Weekend Growth
The sequel opened with around Rs22 crore in India on Friday before recording a significant jump on Saturday. It added approximately Rs33.75 crore on its second day, taking its India net total to Rs55.75 crore. The film maintained its momentum on Sunday, collecting around Rs26 crore domestically, according to trade estimates.
