India, Aug. 21 -- The absence of Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid from the recreated versions of Awarapan's iconic songs has sparked discussion among fans, but producer Vishesh Bhatt has dismissed suggestions that the singer was deliberately sidelined in Awarapan 2.

Zahid originally sang the much-loved tracks Tera Mera Rishta and To Phir Aao for the 2007 film. While both songs return in the sequel, their new versions feature different singers. Saaj Bhatt and Subodhh Sharma have lent their voices to the recreated tracks.
