India, Oct. 7 -- Anupam Kher says the North American response to his Hindi play Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane has surpassed expectations, with audiences praising the production as "India's own Broadway production." Sold-out North American tour The musical comedy-drama, starring Kher and Swaroop Sampat, began its US and Canada tour on September 5 with a sold-out show and standing ovation in Houston. It has since travelled to Austin, Dallas, Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Jose, Columbus and Westbury in New York.
