India, Sept. 29 -- Anne Hathaway had to skip a real-life appearance on Hot Ones while promoting Verity after her doctor warned that the spicy food challenge could potentially trigger early labour.
Doctor advised against spicy-wing challenge
The 43-year-old actor, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, revealed that she had planned to take part in the popular hot-wing challenge during the promotional campaign for Verity. However, her doctor advised her not to participate, citing concerns that she could go into labour early.
Hathaway discussed the decision on the Talk of the Townsends podcast, explaining that she still has not completed the full challenge. She jokingly added, "Maybe next year."
