Dr Vishal Chaturvedi's debut feature Hanuman Ansh, centred on Neem Karoli Baba, has emerged as an unexpected box-office success after a difficult opening phase. The film initially released across 250 theatres but saw its shows reduced to just 25 within a week. By its fourth week, however, it had expanded to around 1,200 screens. According to figures cited by Hindustan Times, the film has crossed Rs45 crore in net domestic collections after 25 days, against a reported production budget of Rs1.7 crore.
