Bangladesh, April 19 -- The price of LPG has been increased again this month. Before the impact of the earlier hike at the beginning of the month could settle, prices have been raised once more.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new prices on Sunday.
The price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Tk 212 to Tk 1,940, up from the previous price of Tk 1,728.
According to the new rates, the price of LPG has been set at Tk 161.66 per kg.
At the beginning of April, the price of LPG was increased by Tk 32.30 per kg. With the latest hike, the price has risen by an additional Tk 17.62 per kg. This means that within 17 days, the price has increased by a total of Tk 49.92 per kg.
