Dhaka, July 2 -- The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and autogas.

Under the new pricing decision, the retail price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Tk 357 to Tk 1,528. At the same time, the price of autogas has been cut by Tk 16.53 per litre to Tk 70.40.

BERC announced the revised prices on Thursday.

The new rates have been adjusted in line with international market prices based on Saudi Aramco's Contract Price (CP) for July. The CP for propane has been set at US$580 per metric tonne, while butane has been fixed at US$600 per metric tonne.
