Bangladesh, March 28 -- A decision has been made to assign one government official to each petrol pump across the country in order to strengthen monitoring and coordination in the fuel supply system.

This information was disclosed in a press release issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Saturday.

The decision was taken at an online meeting held on Friday, chaired by Mohammad Saiful Islam, Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
