Assurance to Resolve Energy Crisis Within Two Years
Dhaka, Aug. 11 -- Energy experts have called for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of energy to sustain the country's economic growth. To this end, they recommended increasing LNG imports and cross-border cooperation, generating more electricity from coal, and intensifying domestic gas exploration rather than relying solely on renewable energy.
The speakers made the remarks at a seminar titled "Crisis in the Energy Sector: Prospects and Ways Forward," organized by the Forum for Energy Reporters Bangladesh (FERB) at the Dhaka Club in the capital on Tuesday.
