Adani Power Plant Resumes Full Operation, Supplies 1,453 MW to Bangladesh
Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- Both units of the Adani Power plant in India's Godda have resumed operation, supplying 1,453 megawatts (MW) of electricity to Bangladesh at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The first unit supplied 730 MW, while the second unit supplied 733 MW, according to the latest power supply data.
Earlier at around 2 p.m., the first unit supplied 756 MW and the second unit 290 MW to Bangladesh.
One of the two units had been completely shut down earlier. With both units now operational, power supply from the plant increased substantially in the evening.
Bangladesh imports electricity from the Adani Power plant under a long-term power purchase agreement.
