Kathmandu, Sept. 17 -- hailing platform Yango is providing free transportation for relief supplies through its Yango Delivery Cargo service, helping humanitarian organisations deliver aid to communities affected by the recent Bhotekoshi floods.

Working with local NGOs, Yango says the initiative has helped deliver relief supplies to more than 1,000 people in Rasuwa, Dhading and Nuwakot.

The company said it began supporting the relief effort in its early stages and continues to provide transport assistance as humanitarian operations remain underway.
