Kathmandu, July 28 -- Rumours of an impending impeachment motion against Supreme Court justices have spilled into the international arena, turning an internal judicial dispute into a high-stakes confrontation.
The escalating controversy follows a joint statement issued on Friday by three prominent global human rights organisations-Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and the International Commission of Jurists-claiming they received credible information that three apex court justices were being pressured to resign under threat of impeachment.
