Arghakhanchi, Dec. 27 -- A police patrol has recovered a cache of weapons and explosive materials hidden inside an abandoned animal shed in Shitganga Municipality-11, Bokse, Arghakhanchi.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dibas Bahadur GC, said that his team found the items on Friday while inspecting the shed, which lies on the edge of a forest.

The structure, originally built to shelter cattle and left unused for several years after its owners migrated, had been leased along with surrounding farmland to the Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) for potato and vegetable cultivation.
