Lamjung, April 4 -- Two people died and 12 others were injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident below Ustabesi in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-7 of Lamjung on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the passenger jeep, en route from Besisahar to Chhinkhola in Marsyangdi-7, veered off the road and plunged approximately 40-50 metres down a steep bend at around 4:30 pm.

The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Tribeni Ghale and 35-year-old Pushpa Ghale of Usta, Marsyangdi-7. They were pronounced dead by doctors while undergoing treatment at Lamjung Provincial Hospital in Besisahar.
