Kathmandu, March 29 -- pressure system combined with local winds is influencing weather across Nepal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Sunday.

Hilly and Himalayan regions are expected to remain generally cloudy throughout the day, while the Tarai will see partly cloudy conditions. Moderate rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely at a few places in the hills and mountains, including Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

By night, cloud cover will persist over hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The Tarai is expected to experience mainly fair weather.
