Nepal, March 15 -- Moderate rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely in several parts of the country on Sunday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Generally cloudy conditions are expected over the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, as well as Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, while the remaining areas will experience partly cloudy weather.

The division said moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in the mountainous region.
