Kathmandu, Sept. 15 -- The Judicial Council has appointed Supreme Court Registrar Bhadrakali Pokharel, District Judge Himlal Belbase and Director General of the Supreme Court Judgment Execution Directorate Gajendra Bahadur Singh as high court judges.

A council meeting on Tuesday morning appointed Pokharel to the High Court in Surkhet, Belbase to the High Court in Janakpur and Singh to the High Court in Biratnagar.

The council also appointed Supreme Court bench officer Bharat Kumar Dahal as a district judge and posted him to the Kailali District Court.
