Kathmandu, Sept. 17 -- University of Nepal has appointed Sunil K.C., president of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a special adviser and invitee to the Executive Committee of its Board of Trustees.

The appointment is for a one-year term and was made in line with a decision taken at the 13th meeting of the university's Board of Trustees on August 31, according to the university.

K.C. has served as an executive committee member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the Diplomatic Council. He is also a former adviser to the Confederation of Nepalese Industries and the Independent Power Producers Association Nepal.
