Kathmandu, May 11 -- The Ministry of Youth and Sports has issued a warning to the National Sports Council (NSC) for failing to act on complaints lodged at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) against the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
The ministry has also sought clarification from the NSC over what it described as non-compliance with official directives.
In a letter sent on May 6, the ministry said the NSC did not implement instructions from the anti-graft body to proceed with action, including internal investigation measures, in cases linked to the national cricket governing body.
