Kathmandu, March 25 -- Saudi Arabia has announced a major relief measure for foreign nationals whose residency permits or visas have expired.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior stated that special provisions have been implemented to manage the status of foreigners who were unable to leave the country on time due to regional circumstances.

According to the ministry, two options have been provided to holders of all visa types-including visit, Umrah, transit, and final exit visas-that expired on or before February 25, 2026.

Under the first option, visas can be renewed until April 18, through the Absher platform upon a company's request and payment of the prescribed fees.
