Kathmandu, March 14 -- The secretariat meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) scheduled for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday.
RSP had called the meeting to discuss the selection of candidates to be elected under the proportional representation (PR) system as well as proposed amendments to the party's statute.
According to party officials, the meeting was deferred on the instruction of party chair Rabi Lamichhane. The secretariat will now meet on Sunday at 10:00 am at the party's central office in Vanasthali, Kathmandu.
Earlier, the meeting had been scheduled for Saturday following discussions between Lamichhane and senior party leader Balen Shah.
