Kathmandu, March 18 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane has warned party lawmakers that the 'right to recall' provision in the party's constitution will be enforced to maintain discipline.
Addressing the closing session of an orientation programme for RSP parliamentarians in Lalitpur on Wednesday, Lamichhane said the party would not hesitate to dismiss lawmakers who violate the disciplinary code, even if such a move risks weakening its position in the governing coalition.
While acknowledging lawmakers' individual freedoms, Lamichhane stressed that there must be a clear boundary between liberty and discipline.
