Kathmandu, Aug. 21 -- The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has appointed Pramod Neupane as chief of its organisation department, while Jagdish Kharel has been named the party's spokesperson.

A central committee meeting on Friday appointed Purushottam Yadav as joint general secretary, Manohar Pradhan as treasurer and Basumaya Tamang as joint treasurer.

Namita Yadav and Surendra Chaudhary were appointed joint spokespersons.

The meeting also nominated Bhupdev Shah, Sudan Gurung, Sunil Lamsal, Pratibha Rawal, Purushottam Yadav, Basumaya Tamang, Surendra Chaudhary, Bhakta Bahadur Rai and Manohar Pradhan as central committee members.
