Kathmandu, Sept. 16 -- The country's real estate sector is showing clear signs of recovery following a prolonged period of stagnation, driven by an expansion in bank credit, increased transaction volumes, and renewed buyer confidence across major urban centres.

According to the latest study on property market trends published by the Nepal Rastra Bank, total real estate transactions rose by 4.74 percent in the last fiscal year 2025-26, reversing a contraction of 1.84 percent recorded in the fiscal year of 2024-25.
