Nepal, June 2 -- Norwegian mountaineer Kristin Harila, who shattered records by climbing all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre peaks in just 92 days alongside her late climbing partner Tenjen Lama Sherpa, might be preparing to hang up her crampons. Having accumulated 31 summits of 8,000-metre peaks over a relentless six-year stretch, and summited the 'Himalayan triple crown' in this climbing season, The Post's Biken K Dawadi and Suraj Kunwar sat down with Harila to discuss her rapid rise, the heavy scrutiny she has faced, safety in the Sherpa community, and her transition away from elite mountaineering.
