Kathmandu, March 13 -- Locals resorted to protests in Chandrapur in Rautahat district on Friday, demanding action against those responsible for the "rape and death" of Inisa BK.

Organised under the leadership of local Sanjib Bishwokarma, the protestors held a rally at the office of Chandrapur Municipality, marched through Chapur Trikoranatmak Chowk, and then converged into a protest gathering.

The Chandrapur locals resorted to protest to build pressure on the government to book the guilty in the death of Inisa. They carried placards with slogans "government, until when rape goes unpunished", "hang rapists", "give justice to Inisa", "safeguard women's rights" and "stop violence against women!".
