Ghorahi, Feb. 18 -- Pratik Adhikari, a House of Representatives candidate from Dang constituency 2 representing the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party, has joined the Nepali Communist Party.
Adhikari announced his decision at a press conference in Ghorahi on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party had deactivated his candidacy and decided to support CPN-UML candidate Shankar Pokhrel. Following the move, Adhikari entered the Nepali Communist Party.
He was welcomed by the party's Dang-2 candidate Nirmal Acharya and proportional representation candidate Bhim Kumari Budha.
