Kathmandu, March 31 -- Police have arrested Chhabilal Rijal, former chief district officer of Kathmandu, in connection with last year's Gen Z protests crackdown.
A police team detained him from his residence in Baneshwar on Tuesday morning, said Kathmandu Valley Police Office chief Ishwar Karki. "A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office took him into custody," he said.
Rijal was arrested in connection with the implementation of a report related to the Gen Z protests held on September 8-9.
