Kathmandu, May 3 -- Nepal Police Club and Rukum West Volleyball Club won the tenth edition of the 'PM Cup: NVA Women & Men Volleyball League' after emerging victorious in their respective finals at Dasharath Stadium's Covered Hall in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Police and Rukum West defeated New Diamond Youth Sports Club and Help Nepal Sports Club in the women's and men's final, respectively. Both the runner-ups were promoted by Tip Top.

From the very beginning, Police asserted dominance against New Diamond, a club run by senior coach Kumar Rai. The departmental club was once at 10-2 in the first set.

However, New Diamond is a team that can bounce back at any time. And they did, albeit it was insufficient, as Police won the first set 25-21....
