Kathmandu, March 15 -- Amid the evolving security situation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi has urged Nepalis living in the country not to spread rumours, post misleading comments or share photos and videos on social media that could create confusion about the security situation.
In an "Advisory-3" issued on Sunday, the embassy warned that such activities could violate the UAE law and urged Nepalis to refrain from them, saying that engaging in illegal or unauthorised activities prohibited by the UAE law could lead to imprisonment of one to three years and a fine ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 dirhams (over Rs 4 million-Rs 8 million)
