Kathmandu, March 5 -- Six people, including Nepali and Pakistani nationals, were injured on Thursday afternoon after drones were intercepted over the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi, authorities confirmed.

According to Khaleej Times, shrapnel fell at two sites following the successful air defence interception. The injuries have been described as minor to moderate.

UAE authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have urged the public to rely only on official sources for updates.
