Kathmandu, May 22 -- Nepal women's cricket team completed a 2-0 series sweep over Malaysia after a seven-wicket win in the second Twenty20 International at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Openers led the chase as Nepal overhauled a target of 83 in 16 overs, anchored by an unbeaten 39 from Samanjhana Khadka. She faced 37 balls and hit three boundaries, sharing an unbroken 42-run stand for the fourth wicket with Kavita Kunwar.

Kunwar remained not out on 19 off 20 balls, striking one four. Nepal lost opener Kavita Joshi for a duck on the first ball she faced. Vice-captain Puja Mahato was dismissed for eight off 14 deliveries, while Sony Pakhrin scored 12.
