Kathmandu, May 22 -- Nepal registered a commanding 122-run win over the United States in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday.

Chasing 318, the United States were bowled out for 195 in 41.2 overs.

Nepal wrapped up their home League 2 campaign with three wins in four matches. They lost the opening game against Scotland by two runs before beating the United States twice and Scotland once.

In the 2024-26 League 2 cycle, Nepal have now won seven of 12 matches. They sit fifth in the standings with 24 points from 28 games and 11 wins. The United States remain top with 38 points from 28 matches, while Scotland also have 38 points from 32 games but are behind on net run rate.
