Nepal, April 19 -- Unpredictable weather patterns and extreme climatic events, both within and outside normal crop cycles, have become routine threats to Nepal's agriculture. This year, the situation appears even more arduous due to incipient disruptions in fertiliser supplies stemming from the conflict in West Asia, raising serious concerns as the planting season for major crops such as maize and rice has just begun.
