Kathmandu, June 19 -- The National Examinations Board on Friday published the results of the Grade 12 annual examinations.

A total of 418,170 students appeared in the examinations this year, including 332,241 in the regular category and 85,929 in partial examinations. Of them, 268,190 students have secured grades in all subjects, including 231,770 from the regular category and 36,420 from the partial category.

The pass rate stands at 69.75 percent in the regular category and 42.38 percent in the partial category. The overall pass rate is 64.13 percent.

The board said it has taken action against 40 students found involved in irregularities during the examinations. Of them, the results of all subjects of 38 students have been cancelled. ...
