Kathmandu, March 15 -- Kantipur Media Group has invited applications for the editor-in-chief of Kantipur Daily following the resignation of Umesh Chauhan, who had held the position for three years.
Issuing a statement, the media group formally informed its readers and the wider media fraternity that Chauhan tendered his resignation on Friday.
Chauhan had been serving in an editorial role at Kantipur since July 10, 2021, and was appointed editor-in-chief on May 21, 2023.
With more than two decades of experience in journalism, Chauhan led Kantipur during several challenging periods, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the Gen Z movement and the recent elections. KMG expressed gratitude for his leadership and wished him success in future end...
