Kathmandu, Oct. 9 -- England cricketer Jos Buttler has been appointed international brand ambassador for Anchor Oral Care in Nepal, marking the company's first partnership with an international sportsperson in the country.

Anchor Consumer Products, which owns the oral care brand, said the partnership was part of its efforts to expand its presence in Nepal and strengthen its connection with local consumers.

Buttler, a former England captain and a key figure in the country's 2019 Cricket World Cup-winning campaign, will join Nepali actor Subeksha Khadka, who already represents the brand in Nepal.

The company has signed Buttler to a multi-year partnership covering the United Kingdom, India, Nepal and the Middle East.
