Kathmandu, July 31 -- Jimbu Thakali, a popular restaurant brand known for its authentic Thakali cuisine, is set to open its first international outlet in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

According to the company, the restaurant will begin operations on Friday at a commercial complex in Sector 65, one of Gurugram's major commercial and entertainment hubs.

Founder Bibek Man Sherchan said the expansion into India is more than a business venture, describing it as the beginning of an effort to introduce Nepali cuisine, culture and hospitality to international markets.
