Kathmandu, March 5 -- Winner of the inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Janakpur Bolts, have acquired a team in Belgium's upcoming EUT20 League.

Team owner Utsav Sigdel announced on Tuesday that Janakpur Bolts will own JB Bruges in the tournament scheduled to be held from June 6 to 14 in Belgium.

Sigdel said the franchise was secured with the objective of prioritising Nepali cricketers and creating international exposure for them. "We believe this platform will provide Nepali players with opportunities on the international stage while also connecting foreign players with Nepali cricket," Sigdel told the Post.
