Kathmandu, March 4 -- The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that preparations for the House of Representatives elections on March 5 have been completed.

On Wednesday morning, the ministry held a virtual meeting with chief district officers from all 77 districts to review election security and overall administrative arrangements.

The virtual meeting, chaired by Home Secretary Raj Kumar Shrestha and attended by senior ministry officials, reviewed preparations and security arrangements across all districts.

The three-hour meeting focused on election readiness and security, Rama Acharya, spokesperson for the ministry, said.
