Kathmandu, March 15 -- A Nepali worker was injured after a drone crashed into his room at a labour camp in Sohar, Oman, on Friday morning. On the day of the incident, Anil Tamang of Kakani in Nuwakot district was on leave from his construction work and was asleep in his room at the camp. A loud blast woke him from a deep sleep as the drone crashed inside his room at around 7 am.
"The smoke engulfed the whole room," he told the Post over the phone, "I hurried outside. Only after I started bleeding did I realise shrapnel had hit me."
Three pieces of shrapnel struck Tamang's body-two hit his thigh while another struck his chin. "The injuries were not serious, but the wounds were painful."
